A packed auditorium of Auckland English teachers at Ormiston College on 11th November 2023 for the Auckland Teachers for English Big Day Out 2023.
I presented an hour-long keynote speech ‘A Writing Life: Told in Story Structure’, which outlined my life in books and writing, including influences, favourite books and education. The intention was to highlight the entry points for English teachers, to show them how much their influence can inspire their young people. A fantastic day and a big thank you to Susy and Auckland Association for Teachers of English committee.
