I was thrilled to be a part of WOMAD‘s 21st celebrations for a World of Words event. I was in conversation with superstar Kerry Sunderland (from Nelson Arts Festival) about Ripiro Beach and Golden Days, as well chatting about the writing life and publishing.
And…it happened to be my birthday weekend, so my husband Jeremy came along to join in the fun in beautiful Ngāmotu New Plymouth. We had an absolute ball!
The lineup was fantastic, including my favs: Ziggy Marley, Morcheeba and Strawpeople. World of Words: Dame Gaylene Preston, Monty Soutar, Tom Sainsbury, Nick Bollinger, Helen Lendorf, Kura Forrester and Kate Evans.
