How OMC’s ‘How Bizarre’ became — and remained — a hit (The Guardian, 23rd March 2023)

I was commissioned to write this piece because much of Golden Days is set in the High Street (Auckland) scene in the mid-90s, at the same time as Pauly was plucked from the clubs and into stardom. I remember him well, down at Cause Célèbre, wide collar and a bunch of swagger.
